Not the sort of yhing anyone wants to think about...but what happens if i die during the 36 months of the TD?...will my wife be forced out of our house?...will my family be burdened with my debt?....will the trustee discharge themselves from my estate...allowing the debtors yo pursue my estate....snd make my family homeless??....i know its all a bit dramatic...but some general info or guidance on this matter would be beneficial for myself and others viewing this forumto see?
Hi scruffy
There are too many variables to provide an answer unfortunately. Its the reason why you should sit with a qualified advisor, provide all your details and then they should hopefully be in a position to clarify each point.

As Mark says, it is difficult to answer as we don't know your specific details. Maybe you should ask your Trustee to confirm your position. If you have life policies, they can be written into trust, which means they are paid to your nominated beneficiary rather than the Trustee. It may give the funds to give them better options. I hope this is just because you are an anxious person [:)]
