I received a letter today advising of a fairly large payout in relation to PPI claims that were made. The amount plus my contributions is enough to cover my basic debt.
I know this is unlikely but has anyone come across any cases where the amount of PPI payouts and contributions paid more than covers the debt, interest & fees?
The amount I'm getting is from 1 creditor for 5 claims but I signed 11 forms to be processed so there may be more due.
final payment 1st May 2015
Hi mummy2twins
Over the last year or 2 we have dealt with literally hundreds of PPI claims and repayments, however I've not yet came across a situation where there have been sufficient funds to clear the debts in full, even excluding fees and interest.

If there were more than enough funds from PPI rebates to cover the debts plus interest plus fees then you would receive any excess, mummy2twins, and your trust deed would be closed.
