Hi

I have received a form 5 letter of discharge around a month ago on my trust deed which is great ๐Ÿ™‚

I was contacted a few months after i made my last payment on the TD regarding reclaiming PPI from a company, who i signed up with.

I have now received cheques from various banks relating to the PPI claim, now that I've been discharged from the TD can i keep them? or do i need to send them to the company who dealt with my TD?

I think that even though I've been discharged the TD hasn't been closed fully by the company that dealt with it ?

Any advice would be great as i don't want to do anything that might get me in trouble

Hi confusedonppi

If your Trustee has not been discharged, then the cheques need to go to him.

I am surprise they even sent the cheques out to you, they will have to go to the trustee for the benefit of creditors.
