Hi Paul,

My TD became protected on the 31/1/12 but I cant find on AIB, it is only showing TD from 2/12/13 to 6/1/14. Even when I put in the dates of my TD being advertised 26/11/2013, it keeps bring the 2/12/13 up???

What am I doing wrong??

So glad its protected just want to see int in writing!!!

Louise

Dont put a date in just search your postcode or street name.

Means you can see who else in the street has been naughty! !

Thanks Paul,

Still not bringing nothing up, will give AIB call tomorrow. The five weeks went a lot quicker than I thought just dragged over xmas and new year.

Oh well 2 payments down another 34 to go!!!!

Hi Paul,

Sorry another quick question, what happens now? Do I receive any paperwork from my IP or from AIB? I think I have had the calm before the storm as Ive had no phone calls or letters as yet!!! I have about 6 creditors so I am very surprised. Probably spoke to soon and will be inundated from tomorrow:)

Hi luby.

With the holidays there may simply be a little delay in your information being passed to the AIB and them then updating their records.

Hi luby

The registration is not automatic with the AIB.

On expiry of the 5 weeks we need to send copies of varios docs and they then register it in the ROI. I would expect this to show in a weeks time or so depending on any backlog.

Thanks Mark,

It was so stressful over the xmas period I was just so relieved when you told me there was no objections. I thought it automatically went straight on AIB website. So am I definitley protected???

Hi Louise

Yes, the registration is just part of the process.

My 5 weeks included the Christmas period too!
I recall there being a wee backlog in the AIB publishing the details.
This was 2 years ago.
An exercise in patience is required, but I felt the same.
You'll get there and enjoy the relief when you see it in black and white.
