Hello everyone,

I posted a few weeks ago now on a previous thread after I had received a letter stating that I had completed payments on my trust deed. I am posting here again this evening to let people know that I have received my Form 5 today! This grants me my personal discharge from the trust deed and I am absolutely ecstatic about this - I understand it takes a bit longer for the Trustee to be discharged but I feel I am now at the end of things.

I want to say a massive thank you to everyone that posts on here and to the experts that reply. I have only ever posted two threads, this and the other a couple of weeks ago, but I have taken so much advice from this website over the course of my trust deed. I understand some people struggle through debt and often will live with it - I was one of them and things did not go well - I was destined to be heavily debt ridden for life (not an exaggeration). However, taking the action I did 4 years ago, whilst tough, literally changed my life and I would recommend to anyone to explore ALL options. It has worked for me and now I can focus on re-building a sound financial profile and a massively better future without debt.
