Hi just wanted to say, after recently entering in to a trust deed I was a bit concerned how things would be when trying to obtain car insurance etc. I always pay monthly and don't have the spare cash for lump sums just now and had noticed some insurers ask if you've had any iva's etc. anyway chanced my luck and managed to get car insurance with quick fit that I can pay monthly, never even got asked about the above so was pleased that I didn't have to remain with the same insurer for years while their premiums increased every year.

Hi fifi
glad you got it sorted. I know there seems to be an issue with some insurers, although there are a few who seem to accept monthly payments without any problem.

Trust deed completed Jan 2012,Trustee discharge Nov 2012.
A new dawn.
I don't see what the big deal is with these companies that don't let u pay monthly, at the end of the day if we don't pay the dd then they cancel the insurance, I think weve enough to worry about without having any car or home insurance too!
