I had completed my TD in May and was discharged at the end of June. Since then I have had a wee summer break. Nothing extravagant, just 5 days in a log cabin with my other half. Had a fantastic time to chill and relax. But most of all, it was all paid in cash upfront. No bills to worry about on my return. What a huge change from where I was just over 3 years ago.

Life is good, and for all of my fellow trust deeders, you have that to look forward to too.

Good luck to you all.

What a great post.

Really pleased for you that it all worked out the way it should.

All the best for the future, although you seem to be there already.

Thanks for sharing that Carol.

I'm sure that a lot of people reading it who are thinking about taking action on their debts, or who have already entered into a protected trust deed, will take a lot of reassurance from it.

Good for you Carol.

Always great to see the positive post-Trust Deed posts, although I was slightly alarmed on first reading that it sounds like you are offering all of your fellow trust deeders 5 days in a log cabin with your other half!!

Hi Carol,

Often once people complete their Trust Deeds we don't hear from them again so it's nice to hear your success story and how things have improved since completing your Trust Deed. It will give hope to others considering a Trust Deed or part way through it.

Best wishes for the future and thank you for taking the time to share on the forum.
