Hi All,
Just a wee vent post here .. grrr On Saturday 25th May I received a letter from my trust deed company informing me that my trustee has resigned from the company and it has named another person in his place.
Okay I get that for many reasons people leave, move one etc. I assume all i need to do is to change the name on my direct debit.
However my vent is that the letter is dated .. 9 May..
Why has it taken over a fortnight for the letter to get to me?
Would of been nice to have the information BEFORE the change happened not two weeks after.. Sheesh. ๐Ÿ™ grrrrr
Rant over.. lol

It's not good preactice that it has take. This long to notify you of this. There is nothing however you have to do. The payments will reach the same account I would assume. The change of Trustee should not effect things at all as it is the administrator and case manager who deal with the day to day administration of your case and who will be familiar with it.

Rob is not currently posting in the Trust-Deed.co.uk forum.

Hi Amerififer.

In practical terms this change will make little or no difference to you. You don't need to change your payment, I'm sure your day to day contact isn't changing, there's just a different individual with ultimate responsibility for the conduct of your case.

As I know the firm involved I think the time taken for a letter to be posted might be down to the fact that there were a pretty large number of letters to send out.

Hi

Our apologies for the slight delay in receiving notification of this change, Amerififer. As trust deed assistant says, there were thousands of letters to send out at rather short notice.

Please be assured that this will not impact on the operation of your trust deed in any way and you should continue to communicate with your case manager as normal.
