Hi folks, I have a question regarding a mortgage payment. Due to a high bill for fixing my car we are really struggling to make this months payment. Our mortgage is with Barclays and we might be able to pay this months payment in installments over the next 24 months, which would be a lot easier. Can I check, am I breaching any terms of the Trust Deed if we were to do this?
Thank you!

Hi Nemo

You would not be breaching the Truist Deed in any way, however if you have receipts etc, it may be an idea to contact your trustee and see about missing a contribution payment and paying the mortgage. It would be less trouble all round I suspect.

Yes I would contact your trustee with proof of the bills. Missing one contribution is better than playing catch- up for 2 years.
