Hi Bankiedonnie

That is really up to your trustee. As long as there are good reasons for the missed payments then I'd have thought they should be understanding about a couple of payments and maybe just add them on at the end.

We had a couple of missed payments early on and just upped what we were paying a month to catch up. Adding them onto the end was given as an optionas well though.

Hi there. In a complete panic. I have just checked my bank account and we do not have enough funds to pay my husband's trust deed payment. Everything else has been paid - mortgage, council tax etc and my trust deed payment was made fine. What will happen? We only entered our Trust Deeds four months ago and have not had a review yet so I know this does not look good at all. Christmas has just been very difficult with three children and to top it all, we had to pay ยฃ150 for a new exhaust this month. It has just been too much. I can't stop worrying about what the consequences will be for us?

Hello Debtnomore.

You'll need to get in touch with your trust deed provider to explain and ask for some help and support.

If you can demonstrate and prove a one-off necessary expense for your car this will likely help your case. Hopefully you'll have a receipt for this if necessary?

If you can afford to make some payment, even if it's less than the usual full trust deed payment, I'd suggest that you do.
