Hi Everyone,
Great forum; i am sure it must be a help to so many people, i know it has been to me.
My saga is long and i wouldn't know where to start to tell you all!
After my business failing some time ago i am now personally bankrupt( i know this is for Trust Deeds, but its the best for information i have found).
I need to find an insolvency solicitor, i understand people may not want to make particular recommendations but even a hint towards an experienced person or good practice would be very useful.
I have looked at quite a few online, but they all seem to work on behalf of IP`s, would they be any good for me, and would they be interested in representing me.
Any ideas of the right direction to take would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Hi Harriet
I'm sure solicitors who work for IPs would do fine.
It depends on the nature of the case I guess as to who would suit as each specialises in different areas.
The AIB use Harper MacLeod in Glasgow, so they should be able to assist.

Hi Mark
Thanks for your prompt reply, i didnt know the AIB used Harper macleod, but i had thought of approaching them.
I need advice on standard securities , i will give them a ring tomorrow and see how i get on. Will keep you posted.
Thanks
Hi Harriet
No problem. I used to play 5 a side with their insolvency guy, so ask for James Lloyd. He's a good guy, but ignore all his comments about my 5 a side. It's all lies!!
