Welcome to the forum clarky1975.

There's no five year threshold for trust deeds I'm afraid, your discharge can only usually follow the completion of your obligations.

I would suggest that you clarify exactly what's expected of you from your trustee directly as it's their opinion that counts here rather than ours.

Did you miss some of your scheduled payments, clarky1975? I imagine your trustee will expect you to carry on until you are fully paid up I'm afraid.

The key thing in the trust deed is to achieve what was proposed to creditors at the start. Sometimes through missed payments etc the time period will require to be extended to meet the final total.
