Morning everyone,
How do i make a formal complaint in regards to my TD Company. I tried to look it up on google but i could not find the information i was looking for. I know someone says icas but i dont know what that means and where i go to make the complaint, do i do this by phone or letter. Sorry to put you all in awkward spot but i've had enough of all there antics and stunts after the letter i got this morning. There obviously not taking anything i say into account and infact twisting what is being said.

So any information would be appreciated
Lou

Hi Lou

The normal process is in writing to the Trustees governing body, explaining the circumstances and nature of the complaint.

Hi Lou
Hope you don't mind me asking but is the company in question the KPMG mob. If it is I will be making a formal complaint to ICAS first thing Monday by email and recorded delivery letter. They have let me down for the last time. You took the time to answer my post about these clowns that's why I am enquiring .
Regards.

Hi Lou.

The insolvency practitioners that handle trust deeds have to be members of a regulatory body. In terms of trust deeds, the IP is your "trustee". Their name and their regulatory body should be on paperwork you have received.

ICAS is a regulatory body your trustee may well be a member of, but there are others.

I think all the regulatory bodies would expect you to try to solve the problem using the firms own internal complaints process first. You can ask the firm to provide you with a copy of their own complaints process so you know what to do (and it should really be on their website as well).

Thank you for the responses,

I looked on the site trust deed assistant and could not find a complaints procedure so i wrote a letter few weeks ago but since i didnt know where to direct it i sent it to there offices listing with complaints department. Thats why i came here i'm sorry to ask considering this is all related to compaints against td companies i never thought it would get to this but yesterday letter was the last straw.

Mark the governing body how do i find out who this is i looked through the paperwork i originally had and i could not see anything about complaints and i now refuse to make anymore attempts to speak to mr Nimmo anymore because hes just a waste of time hes just goes by what hes told and not the fact of the matter at hand and his collegues say one thing and do another and twist what is originally said. I did write a letter of complaint to kpmg but because i was not sure where to direct it i send it to there office but i dont even know if they got it or if it went to right people.

Yes scotland28 it is about them. I know how it feels about being let down Kpmg and the fact of trying to be reasonable in the matter but they say one thing and do the complete opposite and by the time you get a response from the said trustee its been twisted way out of proportion. Could i ask you email me details of where to go to make the complaint as i have no clue. Clicking my profile should give u a email option. i would really appreciate it if you could.

It sounds like you've tried to use the firms complaints process already Lou.

I'd suggest calling the firm and asking them to provide you with the details of the professional body of which your trustee is a member.

The respective professional body would often be named in the small print at the bottom of any letter you have had from your trustee.

That's right Lou.

ICAS will be the professional body in this instance.
