Hi Guys,
I mentioned a little while ago that my wife had received the form 6 from our Trustee.
I got mine today, fantastic so all done now. The only thing is there seems to be one creditor (Northern Rock) that is not on the dividend page. Does anyone know why they would not be getting any of the money I have paid into my trust deed (they were my largest creditor!)
Also it has not yet appeared on the AIB website about the Trustee's discharge for my wife. The letter stated 14 days from the letter dated 2nd August. Does it take a little more time for it to be logged on to the website?
Thanks in advance.
Hi sam21
That is certainly unusual if the main creditor has been excluded. It's not really anything for you to worry about, but you could always ask the trustee.
A wee bit of confusion re the Form 6. You should have already received your discharge via form 5 before this. Form 6 goes to creditors and seeks the creditors to discharge the Trustee after 14 days. Once the 14 day period expires the Trustee will then send Form 7 (surprise surprise!) to the AIB and this registers the Trustees discharge.
Hope this helps

Thanks Mark,
Would Northern Rock be excluded due to buy over etc? I would not think the debt would be written off, but thanks for the comforting comment about I have nothing to worry about.
My wife and I have already had our Form 5 and we show as discharged on the AIB website. So is it just a matter of time before it shows on the AIB regarding the Trustee? It's just closure now I am looking for and I won't really be 100% happy until it appears on the website although it is more or less done!
Hi Again,
I have looked through all my paperwork and Northern Rock were included in the trust deed but they did not submit a claim!
This was the final letter sent to all the creditors (final scheme of division) shown all creditors claim amount.
As they have not claimed is this debt effectively written off or can they still chase me for it?
Thanks.
Thanks Kevin,
Would you know on average how long it takes after the 14 days of the Trustee's discharge when it will appear on the website?
Hi sam21
I would hope Form 7 would be recorded about 7-10 days after submission to the AIB.

Northern Rock usually do claim - they have agency that is contracted to do this on their behalf. I guess there was some reason it never happened in this case - maybe your trustee could shed light on it if bothers you sam21.
If they cannot chase it any longer then I think I will leave it Kevin. Don't want to possibly open another can of worms. It was ยฃ22,000? They were the only creditor that did not claim and what that meant was the other creditors got more than was forecasted. I hope there wont be any comeback?
Hi sam21
There will be no comeback. I'm surprised that NRAM have not submitted a claim as they are usually very efficient as use outside companies to deal with their claims.
