It came in the post today![:D][:D][:D]
According to the letter, creditors have 14 days to object and then the trustee will inform the AIB. It's almost completely and totally over!
And I got a letter from Santander saying that they're marking my debt as satisfied.[:)]
I've said it before. Even though getting my trustees discharge has been a long and labourious process, doing a trust deed was the best decision ever for me.
Nothing left to discharge - everything's done and dusted!
Excelent news....
Well done you... All you need to do now and sort the credit files and start building your cridti profile...
All that extra money each month...! [:D]
Half way already!
Well done Gillian, its all over now. How long did you wait on your discharge
I finished paying last year, got my form 5 in February last year and have been waiting ever since for the trustee to discharge themself.

Do you have to pay the AIB to see your discharge
No you can create a log-in on their site and look at it any time. I can talk you through it if you like, actually I posted sometime about how to, earlier will have a look and post a link.

Great, thanks twizzle
I was discharged last year so that was the major milestone. Getting the form 6 just ties up the final loose end.

Hello gillian.
With apologies for the delay, congratulations on reaching the final technicality of the process.
Even better news... Santander being reasonable (though of course they should have done this when you were discharged!)
