Just got a letter from my trustee to say that he has applied to the creditors for his discharge of trustee,21 march, being the magic number, unless the creditors object, any reason why they would?

Not usuall no. The Trustees discharge shall not effect your discharge. Should just be some statutory paperwork and timescales to adhere to the. Hats you free!

Hi jimmybe

It's pretty standard stuff. The trustee will send you Form 5, then seeks his own discharge from creditors using form 6. After 14 days he will issue ( not surprisingly!) Form 7 to the AIB and that will be it fully finalised.
