Well it is xmas eve and its the first month for 4 years where I have had no trust deed to pay. Both my husband and I paid our final instalment in November so December was lovely being able to indulge and splash out on xmas presents. I thought I would have one month of spending before being sensible and it was great.
It has been a long 4 years. We were both with Invocas, I now await my discharge however my husbands won't be quite so quick as we have not yet paid his £500 to release their interest in our house, we shall pay that over the next few months and then we will both be discharged. At times it has been a hard 4 years but we got there. I found Invocas to be fair, they kind of did not bother us and we did not bother them. We paid all instalments on time I did find them helpful if I had a question or query. I hope they are as fair and now give us a speedy discharge. I still think there was a ?misunderstanding on our side where we thought we were told that the £500 fee (each) would only need to be paid if it looked like there would be equity on our property. Knowing that this was very unlikely I thought we did not need to pay this however was told at the end of the TD that we had to pay it either way. This was not explained properly at the beginning or we may have misunderstood however its over, its xmas and we are debt free. Thanks to everyone here for all your help over the 4 years. Merry Christmas everyone.

Merry Christmas Mrs Mac.

Hopefully the £500 can be found fairly soon and you can both be promptly discharged.

Hi Mrs Mac

I thought the start of your post was 'The Fairytail of New York' song.

Well done on reaching the end. Hopefully the discharge will be quickly dealt with once the £500 has been paid.
