We are 2 payments away from the end of our trust deed and have received a letter saying that it is to be extended for administration and ppi. It doesn't mention continued payments and also states that our creditors will be receiving a dividend shortly. Just wondered your thoughts on this? Is it normal practice for them to do this? Now worried that we will have to continue payments just when we thought we were getting to the end, haven't spoke to them yet as waiting to see what feedback I get from my question on here.

Unless you have failed to stick to your obligations previously then I am sure that you will not be expected to make any further payments, Bravator.

In fact, there should be no reason why you cannot be discharged from your trust deed (via Form 5) once you have completed your agreed payments, while your trustee remains in office to sort out PPI etc.

It appears that a lot of firms are not discharging individuals due to the PPI issue as this gives them some kind of hold, should the funds be forwarded tpo them and spent. Surprising how many times this happens apparently.

Thanks guys, no payments have been missed or paid late, the only thing is that they lost our review forms last year and we sent again and haven't heard from them wether they had received and if everything was ok, so here's hoping all good and we will be done and dusted in 2 months time
