Finally got the equity sorted... As expected we could not release any equity in the property through remortgaging, so are paying the equity amount through monthly contributions. Providing I make all expected monthly payments my last TD payment will be Sept 2017! It's a while away yet, but is nice to have something to aim for. And my god has this taught me a lesson, and by the time I'm finished it will have been a long 5 years! But I guess that's the point- to teach you to be more careful with your pennies.
Anyway, here's to the next 18 months flying by!
