Well, It's been a wee while since I last posted. Sorry for the lack of chat.

But that both myself and my wife done! Form 5's are issued. Final payments made. Trustee's discharged on my wife's case and seeking discharge on mine. All in all its a happy place I am in right now.

This has been a painful but enlightening period for both of us. I'm not someone who will never take credit again (I have a vanquish CC right now and did have for the last few months of the TD) but I have learned a new found respect for credit and lending services. Avoid using credit when ever possible and pay it off in full if we do have to use it is how me manage our money now!

So now is time for me to clear up our credit files (that's going to be a proper pain to do probably) and move on.

Our focus is for a new mortgage for a bigger house and take the family on holiday (it's been 4 years since we could do that while in the PTD).

This site has been brilliant. Thanks to TBA and the team for all the support...

Oh and don't worry. I will post updates on the fixing of my credit file.

colski

Half way already!

That's great news, colski, you've made my day! It does seem a long time ago that we talked together initially and got things set up for you. Hopefully I doesn't seem a long for you.

My best wishes to you both for the future and hope you will stick around and give others the benefit of your experience of going through the Trust Deed process.
