I'm pretty sure I know the answer to my question but I thought I'd ask anyway
When there is a PPI refund due, does it all have to be paid into the TD or is there ever a time where someone might get to keep a small proportion of it?
I know it's only right that the creditors get more back than was originally anticipated but I've been awarded quite a substantial amount which is just over 1/3 of total debt and it would be nice to have a little extra money coming up to Christmas [:)]

Hi, all of my ppi refunds went straight to trust deed. The cheques were posted to me first and were made payable to my trustee so I had no option but to forward them on, sigh, my claims were substantial as well which made it hard.
Hi mummy2twins
No the full balance is paid to the trust deed for the benefit of creditors.

It's as I thought then, I certainly wasn't expecting quite a large sum and there could be more as that amount only covers 5 of the 11 forms I signed and returned for Trustee to pursue.
At least I will feel better knowing that once I've paid my contributions my original debt will have been re-paid - not including interest and Trustee fees of course, unless there's any more refunds.

Mark can i ask, if i have had a ppi sum paid out to me in the past on the same loan which is now a trust deed debt, what happens if my trustee investigates a potential claim only to find out its been paid out allready?
