Help needed please!!
I was discharged from my trust deed in Sept 08 with it due to fall off my credit report on sept 11. I was given a letter of discharge and from searching my credit report it looked like creditors were paid out all ok.
I've just recently searched my report through annualcreditreport.co.uk and it says my trust deed is now being disputed and i'm assuming it's because i've been discharged?!
I've tried to contact KPMG who administered it for me but i'm awaiting a response from them but can my trust deed be disputed AFTER i've been discharge?
My circumstances changed after I was discharged and I bought a house in April 2010. Surely they can't gain any access to excess funds in the property after discharge if i've fullfilled all obligations of the trust deed?
Thanks in advance for any help on this matter.
Bryan
Hi Bryan,
If you have met all of your commitments to the Trust Deed, and KPMG have properly closed the case, I really don't think that you have anything whatsoever to fear.
Hopefully one of the experts will post soon to further reassure you.
Hi bmaindj
If the Trust Deed is discharged then the debts are dead an no ne can come back.
I suspect its an error on the credit file and nothing more sinister.

Hi bmaindj
You can add a Notice of Correction on your credit report. You will be able to explain your circumstances surrounding an entry on the report.
