Welcome to Trust-Deed.co.uk hardtimes67.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by financial support. Do you mean some kind of benefit that might be payable? We haven't heard of anything like that here before I'm afraid but there may be no harm in asking a benefits adviser about it.

If you're going to have this large one-off expense at your household you may wish to speak to your trust deed firm. They may allow you to miss a payment if they think its justified, and then make it up at the end of the trust deed.

If you get Tax Credits she may be eligible for free treatment from an NHS dentist

What if the treatment was done after christmas, when her contract is terminated?
Would she qualify for free treatment then?

If your household income is going to change, then you should have your contribution reassessed. The trustee may allow you t miss a payment in order to pay the dentist bill, but you will have to ask them. Make sure you keep the lines of communication open.

Hi Shona, would this extended the Trust deed by a month or is it simply that the months contribution is written off?

Every end has a start !!

Hi Timelord

Unfortunately it would extend it.

NHS dentists appear to be springing up everywhere for some reason and at least the costs are capped and are considerably cheaper than private.
