A new dawn.
Dental access centres all over Fife - Adamson Hospital Cupar, Whyteman's Brae Kirkcaldy, Near Lynebank Hospital Dunfermline, Glenwood Centre Glenrothes to name but a few. The "Help me find a dentist" hotline for your local NHS Trust will tell you.
I'd rather phone the help me run away from the dentist helpline!!!
Last dentist who treated me was a Royal Marine!!!(no really he was, based in Arbroath at RM Condor).

I'm about as happy going to the dentist as I was on my first trip to my trust deed administrators office. Absolutely bloody terrified and I've got a really nice patient dentist. I always try to organise mine straight off nightshift as I'm too tired to get stressed.
My teeth hurt just thinking about it.
Nothing left to discharge - everything's done and dusted!
Nice dentists are only nice until the DRILL comes out to play!!!!
arrrggh!!!

At least the dentist can sedate you.
Now the hygenist, that's the one to be truly afraid of. That minature version of a pressure washer is surely an instrument of torure.
Nothing left to discharge - everything's done and dusted!
Was having a rubbish day at work today - reading these comments I am chuckling out loud!
Sometimes you just have to make light of life, and have a good belly laugh!!!

If you want a laugh on the cheap, go retro and buy a 1p copy of Little Shop of Horrors off Amazon. Steve Martin singing "You'll be a dentist, you have a talent for causing things pain. Son be a dentist, people will pay you to be inhumane". While Bill Murray sits in the chair begging for a "root canal, just give me a long, slow root canal". It will never grow old.
Uncleben-watched that with our 11 and 13 yr olds at the weekend, really funny-again and again. Steve Martin is brill!!
Worried me-no more hairy teeth eh they must be good!
Well I'm off to get the hair coloured and cut for the grand price of £17!!! Loving certain websites that offer deals (don't know if I'm allowed to mention them). Gone are the days of paying £140 for the hair!!! But new days of actually paying cash!
£17! I never pay more than £8 myself.
I know, I know - it shows!
On a practical note, the guideline for hairdressing for a single person under CCCS figures is £11pm, so I'm afraid you would only be allowed about 2/3 of a haircut, neverendingstory!
Strangely it is £20pm for a couple, not £22. Don't ask me why.
You've answered your own question there, seeing as you don't pay any more than £8.[:D]
I've said to my husband on many an occasion that he should ask to be charged by the weight of hair cut. That should reduce his barber costs everytime he goes.
Nothing left to discharge - everything's done and dusted!
£140 would last me 28 months worth of barber visits!!
