I am coming to the end of my trust deed in December, I am just wondering what situations will make the trust deed become extended??. I have made every payment on time, have had my payments raised and then lowered(a little bit) and have always sent the correct info they ask for. Hopefully I will be ok but just wanting to make sure.

Hi craigp

From what you describe, the only situation would be if there were un realised assets that had to be paid for (equity, car etc) or if you volunteered to extend it (I'm joking at this point!)

I'm sure it will be fine and end as agreed at the outset.

Hi craigp,

Just read your post good for you making your last payment, hopefully I will be in the same position next year, what did you find so good about being in a deed, do you mind telling what company you used, also why were your payments lower then raised again.

Hi Craigp

I would agree with Mark, and it all seems very straight forward. Well done for completing the Trust Deed, and it is always great to hear from people who are now happy and debt free!!

Hello craigp.

I just wanted to add my congratulations on reaching the final stretch of your trust deed.

It looks from what you have written as though you've met all of your commitments and that there would be no reason at all for there to be any extension.

Best wishes for the final few payments.

Thanks guys, though not there yet will be done in December ready for the year 2012!!.

Lorraine, I found it more useful having all my debts in one place and only having to pay one payment each month. I used Wilson Andrews, I found their service was good, I had regular calls to check everything was ok, and advice was there when I needed it. I never had a face to face meeting as I felt I never needed it. My payments went up last year as my expendature went down, as I had moved house(renting) which was cheaper. Then my payment went down by around ยฃ40 this year due to a decrease in my expected earnings.I feel my payments have been a fair reflection on my lifestyle and feel its the best choice I have made in a long time:-)

Good luck with finishing yours Lorraine
