Is it just me or are others frustrated when the person that is your contact person just dissapears? As in not your contact person any longer and you just were in contact before Christmas. Siggh .. I sent a email to my contact ( the second in two years) requested a read receipt and read receipt comes back from some one differant than it was addressed to.
Just needed to vent my frustrations as being in a trust deed is stressful enough without the contact person being chopped n changed. grrrrrrrrrrrr ..
That is all.. Thanks for reading 🙂
Our case manager at rsm tenon changed a couple of times but we always got a letter to let us know the knew contact details.
Poor show otherwise.

Trust deed completed Jan 2012,Trustee discharge Nov 2012.
A new dawn.
nope no letter after first change, none after second change. so now on case manager number three and had no clue except for the auto return email from someone who must be case manager number 3... sigggh..
I'm with RSM as well.. pretty happy with them overall.. Just wish they'd have the decency to inform when case manager changes.. I do understand people leave and change jobs n all..
I'm on manager number 3 and was never sent anything other than an out of the office reply to an email whenever it changed and I tried to email whoever I thought it was.
Nothing left to discharge - everything's done and dusted!
I'm on my second and only been protected ten months. Most worrying thing is a lot of advice is verbal over the telephone with no proof, and can be based on the opimion/interpretation of the person and that may differ, negatively, from previous adviser, as I found out to my disappointment.
Every end has a start !!
Was very fortunate to have one case manager all the way through it, Julie from pkf you were a star!
Of course, it is possible that your contact is just on a few days leave (a lot of schools were off for part of this week), and his/her emails are being checked by a colleague in the meantime.
So, you get a read receipt from a different person, but your contact is still there...
As for getting advice over the telephone, and all the risks that can entail, I'll get on a personal hobby horse here (the following doesn't just apply to trust deeds):
Always get it in writing!
Agree with ya there candlewick.. That very reason is why I ALWAYS email with ANY queries. I save and back up all correspondence as well. Anything i've sent and anything they've sent. Better safe than sorry.. As you say there is only proof if its in writing ..
I'm not sure who your case manager was, Amerififer, but we have had one person leave and another go on maternity leave lately. Obviously these things happen, but I understand your frustrations about not being kept informed so will feed that back to the appropriate people.
In terms of matters discussed over the telephone, we do always make notes on the salient points of any conversation on the system, so any replacement case manager will be able to see what has been discussed/agreed throughout.
Thanks Kevin.
As I said I have no issue with RSM itself but would be nice to be notified that case manager is changing..
Thankful that I have a good Trust Deed company that works with me.
