Well, my final payment is due on 1st June. I
have spoken to my case manager at GT to
finalise arrangements to pay my equity and
to update on ppi investigation. He even mentioned
the 'discharge' word. How exciting!!
I have to say that this process for me had been
straightforward and that GT have always been
accessible and helpful when needed. I would
like to thank all of the experts and fellow posters
on this site for your support and very valuable
info and insights.
I am so glad that I had opted for this process
and am now about to enter into a debt free
future with a few wee luxuries along the way.
To anyone just starting out or part way through
your TD, just hang in there. Your time will come.

Well done Carol
It's always good to hear from someone who has went through the process and came out the other end.

Hi Carol,
Congratulations on reaching this point in your Trust Deed.
For someone just starting out on the Trust Deed path it can be hard to see the end but posts like yours really help people in this situation.
Let us know when you receive your Form 5 discharge certificate.

Don't worry David, I will be singing it from
the rooftops. It will be like Christmas is June.

That's a great image you just put in my head, Carol!
Really pleased to hear that you are so close to the end and that your experience with Grant Thornton has been such a positive one.
Most importantly, I am sure any others out there at the start of this journey, feeling stressed and considering their options, will be grateful for your feedback as to how well a Trust Deed worked for you.
