assuming you arent looking up the insolvent companies side then you should find yourself on there. Which company is your trust deed with?

Findlay Hamilton.
I searched with my name, my maiden name, his name, the company name, a six month period from month of my Trust Deed. All variations except for the Trust Deed reference number which I do not know (I cannot find it on any paperwork)

I know someone else who had a trust deed earlier that year and it appears easily.

Would there be a reason for it not being on there? And is there likely to be any problem if it has not been registered for any reason (error for example?).

Did your trust deed become protected, Firewalker? It won't be on the Register if it didn't.

Also, your trustee is an individual, not a company. So, if you're searching for the company 'Findlay Hamilton', you won't find anything. You need to search under the individual Insolvency Practitioner's name (e.g. 'Bryce Findlay').

all that said, you should find the record quite easily by searching unbder your own name. [:(]

Yes. Protected Trust Deed in 2009. the letter says that no objections were received and he is forwarding a copy to the AIB for registration.

I have had twice yearly annual Inc/Exp statements and copy of annual reports so I have no doubts about it being a PTD although I have no reference number for it.

I searched using Findlay Hamilton and also Bryce Findlay and Bryce L Findlay. There is a huge list comes up and I checked 13 pages but could not see my name either.

I tried using my name, my address, range of dates to cover Trust Deed registration.

To check I was doing it correctly, I entered another name I knew had a PTD, and no further information and it appeared.

Seems strange but could it be something as simple as a mistake and are there any consequences for me?

On the other hand, a search on Experian or similar, shows a Trust Deed is in place. Strange.

It shouldnt impact on you if there is an error in the aib entry(or if its not entered at all). Possibly worth emailing your IP to ask about it though.

Thank you. I was keen to be able to check records held with Creditors and ensure any errors were corrected as soon as possible after I receive discharge form. I wanted to see what was registered on AIB.

Do you know what documentation I will need to provide Creditors with, to prove correct date of PTD, and date of discharge?

Your form 5 will have the date that the trust deed ran,and your tur trustee sends paperwork to the AiB so you shouldnt have to do much else. On your credit files whats the date on your trust deed entry?

Its a weird one as I thought the CRA used the AiB for info,so if your not on the AiB list where did credit reference agencies get your details??

This could easily just be a clerical error.

Why not give your trustee and/or the AIB a call tomorrow?

Plasticdraft - The dates of default vary on my credit record, so I wanted them to be corrected (as advised on here), which is what started this trail.

I cannot remember if there was a date showing against the Trust Deed or if it just recorded the fact there was one in place.

That was my curiosity, if it was not registered with AIB, how would the credit companies get the information.

I am waiting on a response from my Trustee at the moment about discharge, so may call him tomorrow to ask about both.

TDA - If the discharge form shows both dates, then that should allow me to deal with the inaccurate records - thanks for that information.

Mystery Solved!

My first name is spelled incorrectly on the AIB register.

I opened a Noddle account so went on there to check the date showing against the PTD, and saw the reference number (which does not appear on any of my paperwork).

Searched AIB with the reference number and the record appeared.

I thought it should have been possible using address etc. but at least
I know the reason now.
