Hi guys, well it's been a while since I was last here. A bit of history, I took out my trust deed in Aug 2011 with RSM Tenon which was transferred to Apex Debt Solutions. I was discharged in Nov 2014.
Although I am discharged, Apex are not and my debtors have still not received monies and my accounts are still showing defaults. I've tried calling Apex but I'm told they are still looking into mis sold PPI, how long can they take to do this? Is there anything I can do to push things along.
Cheers
AlphaB
Just tried to find details of my TD on the AIB website but can't find anything. Should I be happy or worried?
I believe that once you are discharged then your creditors have a duty to update your credit file accordingly, so it may be a case of getting in touch with them to fix this side of things rather than your trustee. I agree though, it does seem an unnecessarily long time for your former trustee to be dealing with PPI.
Regarding the ROI, isn't the entry meant to disappear 1 year after discharge?

One year after discharge of Trustee, Kevin.
That's what I had always thought, Firewalker, but given AlphaB's post I started to question it... Thinking again I am sure you are right though.
Maybe you need to amend your search criteria, AlphaB? Best to stick with very simple search, eg surname only.
Hi AlphaB,
Even although your creditors have not received any dividend payments this should not have an impact on your ability to repair and rebuild your credit rating if you have been discharged and received your Form 5. The main part for you is the Form 5.
Once you receive your Form 5 certificate of discharge you are now no longer legally liable for the debts. I would review your credit report and any creditors that showing as default contact them and ask them to update the note as you have now been discharged.
In terms of trying to push things along your best to try and keep on top of your Trustee regarding the closure of the case and the completion of PPI investigations.
Did you manage to find your details on the Register of Insolvencies?
