Hi

My trust deed was in its 5 week protection which finished on the 27th November. Can anyone tell me how long it takes for it to go through if it's accept. I have not heard anything from my company who is dealing with it.

Any help on this would be fantastic

Many Thanks

Hi Hugo

Do you know when you TD was advertised in the Edinburgh Gazette? It literally is 5 weeks from then.

It would have been nice for you TD company to let you know but I'd give them a call and ask if there has been any objections. If you 5 weeks are up and there wasn't then you're protected.

Hi AB

Thanks for the response it was posted at end of October well over 5 weeks. I did send my TD company an email but had no response that was only today though.

I am just getting worried incase it doesn't go through and if that happens what the next step is.

Give your chosen firm a quick call to confirm where you are in terms of protection.

I am sure everything is fine,as often no news is good news but its nice to here that things are on track.

Hi Hugo

I think there's more chance they'd call if there was an issue, but best call to confirm it all went through ok.

The majority of creditors are dealt with by The Insolvency Exchange and as long as they stick to their criteria, there should not be an issue.
