Hi Folks
I was a bit alarmed by an article on this newspaper's website concerning the firm I have my trust deed with.
There seems to be some dispute amongst its directors (sorry it's a bit selfish on my part) but I wondered how things would stand if the firm went into administration. I have five payments left, hopefully and the last couple of years have taken quite a bit of effort. I really wouldn't like to have to start again.
Any thoughts.
Regards to all.

Hi snowball

Don't worry, all funds in trust deeds are placed in trust accounts and would not be included in any administration etc.

I made my first payment last month to that company. What happens if it does go belly up? Will I have to find another company to administer my trust deed or would they pass it on to someone else to run? To say I'm a little anxious is an understatement

The cases on a trust deed firms books would simply be passed on to another firm.
