Hi all, if your house has to be sold at the end of the TD to raise the equity and you hand over the keys, do you have to wait till the house is sold before you would be discharged?

If you signed after April 2008, then no. You can be discharged and the Trustee can remain in office until the property is sold.

Thanks Mark, do you also know how long it would be on market for before going to auction?

I imagine practice will change between different IPs. Certainly we would normally expose a property to the open market for a fairly long period of time if necessary before considering auction.
