I have to say how disappointed I have been with Andrew Wilson. They treated us like we were criminals. We got a trust deed out because of daily cost of living had been too high. We did not run up debts because of an luxurious lifestyle.
While with them, they continue to get more money out of us. Told us if we could not afford to put food on table they would lower our monthly fee. This is so untrue. My child was on DLA and they still wanted the money. How low can you get?? We always cooperated with them and they still bleed us dry, we had to get the ombudsmen involved and who put them in their place. Even after that they said we could miss a payment because my partner got made redundant then when our trust deed have finished they made us pay it back and extended our trust deed by 3 months. My partner never got any redundancy just a weeks pay, then they took that as well.
Now we have finished our Trust Deed, They still send letters out to us in error. We rang their offices to be told they had no idea who sent the letter out!!!
Beware please think carefully before you go into a trust deed with WA. I nearly ended up killing myself because of their constant harassment and bad staff they employ. I would not have bothered writing this but after 6 months they are still sending letters to us regarding our trust deed. Please note Andrew Wilson we have completed everything and stop sending letters to us. Your worse than our creditors.
It's always difficult to comment on other firms, however a representative normally posts on the forum and hopefully will be able to resolve any issues you may have. From previous posts, matters appear to have been resolved fairly quickly.

Hello Happy2 and welcome.
Like Mark, I wouldn't want to make a comment about a named firm.
However, you have had your say and the firm concerned are welcome to respond if they choose to.
Congratulations on having completed the trust deed and now being able to move on from it.
I always thought that entering a trust deed was to take some of the pressure off the client who has signed up to one. I strongly feel that IP's should be monitored more thoroughly by an independent body who ensures people are treated fairly. I sometimes come off this website wound up by the way the others have been treated by IP's. I'm one of the lucky ones as my IP hasn't given me any bother. However, I'm two payments away from the end of my trust deed and I've just got it into my head that all the funny bugger "carry on" will start when it comes to being discharged I hope I will be proven wrong. Maybe its good that comments can be made of their personal experiences that they have had with their IP (constructed criticism) of course as this might change there people skills when it comes to communicating with their client...Rant over, away to take a chill pill.
Hi sparky1.
When you speak to trustees you find that they are highly concerned to run compliant businesses that pass the regular inspections that they get from their regulatory bodies.
I do know what you mean about this forum though, I think every reader including myself will worry about some of the things that get written here.
We should set it in context. Forums are much more likely to be used by people with a problem or concern than by those for whom things have progressed well and as expected.
I'm glad that's true for you (things going well) and I think it's probably the case for the majority of people that sign trust deeds.
Hi Happy2
Please accept our apologies. We have to hold our hands up on this one ÔÇôwe made a mistake. You should not have received the letter that you did and I am afraid it was sent in error.
We are investigating how this happened and we will put a process in place to ensure that it can't happen again.
I can confirm that you were successfully discharged two years ago and we have no further interest in your case.
We have raised a complaint on your behalf and our customer relations team will respond to you formally, in writing, in due course.

Congratulations on the received apology Happy2...This company has no meaning in your life anymore so time to move on from it all.
I think in my 1st post that I stated that WA will normally respond and deal quickly to resolve issues. It's good to know that they have dealt with it promptly.

After reading post from WA wish I had gone with them. Thats pretty much a Public apology. Have to say I think IP work in our best interests. I could not have dealt with my debts without them.
I'm just worried that some guy called Andrew Wilson will generally be browsing the Internet, think its about him & freak out!!
On a serious note, it is a big step and they deserve a huge amount of credit.
