Hi all, I am still alive and kicking , come Tuesday my complaint will be hear by the IPA in London , taken me 20 months to get this far .

Heard back from the AIB in Scotland about further information regarding my ex Trustee under the freedom of information act , very interesting reading but in short between the 14th of May 2012 and the 31st of march 2015 there has been 83 audits of his accounts ,in 8 cases the trustee had already been discharged , or the audit request withdrawn . Now comes the interesting part of the remaining 75 cases , there was 72 cases in which his fees were reduced, surely some kind of record for fee reductions how does he keep getting away with constantly over charging ? . Maybe the experts might wish to highlight how many fee reductions they have had during the same period to try and put this into some kind of context , going to calculate the total of the 72 cases and add it here .[B)]

Hi pinalta,

It's a lot of a cases for fees to be reduced.

I've just checked with our two Insolvency Practitioners and they have advised that we have not had any in over 30 years.

Hi pinalta.

Is the figure you've written above correct?

It averages just over ยฃ200 per case (where fees were reduced).

I have checked here too and as far as I can tell it doesn't appear that we have had any instances of fees being reduced by the AIB after audit either.

It is certainly a huge amount - makes you wonder about the cases that weren't audited too...

Averaging an hourly charge this would work out at overcharging in the region of 828 hours!

Interesting to hear the result of the IPA review.

Thank you experts and TDA . I shudder to think about those who just accepted his fees , however I think those who bought over bad debt have been very complacent , it will be my next request from the AIB to find out who requested the audits and why , regarding the IPA review it is my opinion that they are a spineless and toothless entity ,during my first hand experience of blatant and obvious H2o extraction from my ex trustee . Capre diam .

No problem, Pinalta. It's certainly been an interesting journey. Interesting wasn't, of course, my first choice of word to use!!

Be good to hear how or even if this is dealt with.

What words would you use Mark ? I can think of certain crimes from which you could be sentenced for less pay back / time . No confidence in the IPA
