My husband and I had protected trust Deed 2000-2003. Need to sort out present financial difficulties. Could we approach same company to try and help with further TD?

Hi teri270,

Welcome to the forum.

There should not be an issue with entering into another trust deed, especially as it is quite a while ago since the last one finished.

You could approach the company who helped you last time. Philip Gill & Co and Tenon are two firms represented by Mark and Kevin who answer peoples questions on this forum. You may wish to speak to one of them as well so that you have a comparison point about who will be best to help you. Both Kevin and Mark have received a lot of good feedback from those they have helped here.

Please let us know if you have any further questions and best wishes for the future.

Hi Teri

There would be no problem with another TD. There was a similar post from lynsmac, she signed a 2nd TD and it went
Through no problem.

Hi sebysmum,

There is no general reason in principle why another trust deed wouldn't be available to you.

The firm handling the case for you would want to dig into the circumstances a little so that they understand how the situation has arisen again. So long as the circumstances are reasonable there should not be an issue.

Hi folks,

A gentleman signed a trust deed with us recently who had only just been discharged from another trust deed a couple of months previously. There was a reasonable explanation as to how this situation had arisen so we were happy to help...
