Did alot of calling around yesterday trying to get
A figure that would be suitable for my creditors
With the debt amount I have
Told yesterday by one £11,500 would be min accepted

This morning other company ( recommended by CAB . Not with
A city centre address)
Said £9,500 would be accepted.

Minefield right enough.

You mentioned in your initial post that you had £14k to use as a settlement figure. The figure to pay creditors is therefore £14k.

I would be surprised if an IP firm said to pay them £9,500 and you keep £4,500 for yourself.

Thanks Mark

I originally had 14k but that is presently propping
Up my job seekers just to get through the months.

I have to use it for essentials. No choice.

The two different IP's I asked only had the debt figure.

2k difference is quite something.

I was also unaware a Third party could pay your
Monthly TD for you. Never knew that.

Have you thought of Sequestration, it may be even cheaper for you?

Have you thought of asking the creditors if they would accept a figure as a full and final settlement for discharge of the debts. It may be worth looking into before doing anything with a formal resolution such as Trust Deed/Sequestration.
