Just had my 1st annual review during Feb,
The review along with the declarations seemed to go fine(pleased),
Just 1 question which I declared with review, my wife's car was stolen 4 weeks previous to the review, I declared the theft due to the fact was unsure the insurance was going to payout due to a small technicality which has now been resolved,
The trustee has sent me a letter requiring further information regarding the Insurance pay-out which we now understand will be
£4050.
Any ideas if this will have an affect on our finance which is very
strict and we have no savings or spare income and need this funds for another car.
I may have added in the report OUR car was stolen but(unsure), maybe should of stated the wife's car if this would make a difference.
Where do you think we might be heading with this, I would hate to pu anymore stress on the missus last 6 weeks were awful awaiting the police report.
Just a quick email to your trustee or case manager should clear matters up. The insurance payout is to replace the car so thats what it gets used for.

A new dawn.
Hi Craig
I think Paul's correct. The car belongs to your wife and the money is paid from the insurers to allow her to fund a replacement of similar value.
I'd be surprised if they attempted to make any claim on this. Although I should maybe stop using the expression 'I'd be surprised'!
As Paul suggests, probably best cleared up directly with the case Manager.

Hi Craig
No problem. Things always appear worse than they are, but in my experience they are soon resolved.
Tell your wife I have a 1997 Austin Montego with 168k miles on the clock. A steal at £4,050 if she's interested!

No doubt I'll start a bidding war
