I received this email from one my credit card creditors today having informed them about my TD.

============
We are happy to hear that Scottish Trust Deed is helping you with your finances. Please continue to make the payments we request on your statement.

You can just imagine some poor flunky who hasn't a clue what they're doing having to type out this nonsense.

Cheers,

Hello DFW.

Some lending organisations are starting to put their debt collecting staff through debt adviser training.

If enough continue to do so hopefully this type of ridiculous email will become a thing of the past.

As my email address has been passed on from company to company when I was getting myself deeper and deeper into debt with loan after loan I have been getting emails in my spam folder from Capital One (one of my crediotrs) offering me one of their credit cards.

The delete key is now one of my best friends.
