Hi, My yearly (first) review is due soon. What am I to expect? will I be required to provide payslips and account statements for the past year? Just curious to know so I can tidy up my affairs. Thanks in advance
Hi Sigaro,
Thank you for your post. Congratulations on making it to your first year anniversary.
The review is very straightforward. It is the Trustee's responsibility to review the case as a whole but where you are concerned is simply the income and expenditure, and living side of things.
You will be provided with a short form and asked to provide address, job title, income, expenditure and three recent wage slips, bank statements or copy accounts or drawings if self employed. I would advise you to just be honest and include everything you pay for on a monthly or weekly basis. That way there are no suprises for the Trustee. If you have a copy of your original paperwork refer to the income and expenditure you completed at the start for reference.
There will also be the chance to list any overtime, bonuses, one-off payments ect.
Once the Trustee reviews the form you should receive confirmation that the contribution is remaining the same (if applicable) and you will receive your original pay slips back.

Cheers Rob. Much appreciated
Dont be frightened of the review as its for your benefit as well. I always had a copy of my original expenditure close by and increased things as they went up, so gas/electric usually went up and petrol and groceries too. It meant that any cost of living payrises the nhs had decided to give the wife and I didnt all get gobbled up by me being scared to say to trustee that prices had risen.
