Hi guys,
Can you please advise how you are affected by your trust deed if moving to USA, Canada or Austrailia where you would have no credit history.
For example if it was required to lease a car, get a mobile phone contract for work purposes ect. Would this have an adverse affect on your trust deed in the UK?
Thanks,
BR
Hi Bigred.
Nothing to stop you moving overseas during a trust deed (provided you meet that country's visa requirements).
I guess you'd have no credit history in that country - which would probably make it tough to get very much credit.
You'd still be required to keep in touch with your trustee, who would obviously want/need to know about your changed financial circumstances.
Thank you for your response, all hypothetical thoughts/questions at the momnet and I would have absolutely no intention of trying to get credit anywhere until my trust deed is complete but I was wondering about potentially leasing a car and a phone ect.
Thanks again
Your trustee would still require you to provide a breakdown of your income and outgoings, but as long as such expenses are justifiable then there is no reason it should be a problem.
Whether you would be accepted by the provider is another question...
Thanks Kevin. Ive conatcted my trustee today aswell.
