I was witness to my partners trust deed. At the time stupidly I did not read the paper work.

We have since separated. I would like to see what I have signed.

Am I entitled to?

Welcome to the forum isobelt14.

Do you jointly own property with your ex-partner?

Do you have any joint debts that will be included in the trust deed?

Hi isobelt14

I don't think witnessing the document entitles you to have a copy of it now as this should have been checked pre signing.

As witness it does not bind you to anything within the document as you are only witnessing a signature. It is preferable to have a non related person witness a document, but it des not mean it is not valid.
