Hi there,

I entered a Trust Deed in September 2006, and made my final payment to the company who facilitated this in September 2009.

I've realised that I've never had any formal documentation to put closure to this.

What would normally happen ???

(By the way, the reason that this has now come to light for me is that one of my previous creditors has contacted me with a statement advising of an amount, which they tell me on contacting them, they have now passed to a Debt Collection Agency ... I've messsaged Amy for advice about where I stand with this particular issue !!!)

Many thanks,

TB2805.

Hello tb2805 and welcome back.

I'd firstly suggest that you contact your Trust Deed company to confirm that everything was properly brought to an end. I can see no reason why they should not confirm that in writing to you.

If the debt you mention was part of the Trust Deed (which has been successfully concluded) please be reassured that you will no longer have any responsibility to repay it.

I think your message must have come into the office just after we left this evening. Either myself or one of my debt advisor colleagues (in the site support team) will reply directly when we're back in there tomorrow morning.
