My Husband and I started our Trust Deed 2008. My Husband for 4 years and myself for 4.5 years. The term was increased to 4.5year for my Husband and 5 years for myself. In August 2012 the Trustees sent a chap to our Home to give my Husband advice on what to do when he was discharged and that if there was a problem with building a credit score to contact him. He also said he would email us a copy of a document my Husband signed. To date we have not received anything. I finished paying my Trust Deed in January, but the only correspondence from the Trustee has been letters re PPI claims being made by a Company on their behalf. All forms were signed and returned.

What is our next step? It has been a stressful time and we just want to see a light at the end of the Tunnel

It's a difficult thing to comment on, however the guy turning up at the end is certainly intriguing. I could probably guess the IP at a push!

Best advice is to ask your trustee why you have not been discharged after fulfilling your obligations and threaten to lodge a complaint.

Please keep us posted on the response.

Hi charliebucket and welcome.

I think you need to contact your trustee to confirm where you're currently at and the anticipated timeline from here.
