Does anyone know if there are particular lenders that have the reputation for not accepting trust deeds?
Elaine
Hi Elaine, having just read your last post, you may find the bank are not happy if they think you are continuing to run up debt. Other than that creditors are quite good so long as the proposal is within the guidelines they set.

Shona, could this give them grounds to refuse the TD terms?
I have also been asking someone about the payment of creditors on another post and would value your advice on this also if you wouldnt mind taking a look at the post.
Thank You
Elaine
Hi, sorry it looks as though we were posting at the same time!! Normally you would stop paying your creditors once a trust deed is signed, the problem here is that you may not be in a trust deed yet. The good news is....if that is the case, the overdraft can now be included. If you had been given good advice, you would not be in this position. I cannot believe that people are left not knowing if they are in a trust deed or not. You need to find out where you are in this, and if you are not in a trust deed yet, reconsider if you are not happy with their service.

Hello Elaine.
Your posts this evening seem to touch on many issues that the OFT have tackled in their new "debt management guidance" which was issued today.
Anyone interested might want to read our blog on the subject:

Hopefully you can establish exactly where you are in the process tomorrow.
