I have not long had my car into the garage for repair which the bill was major im currently paying 250 a month to my deed and 216 for the car on finanace I will be calling my car company to ask for a payment holiday (extended the fininace) for 1 more month that will help me pay for some things, but I was wondering will my trustee do the same because basically if I cant get to my work via my car then I will be paid off simple as that and will no longer be able to pay my fee, so is it possible to ask for 1 month extension but miss a months payment so im not really missing anything just extending it if you get me.

Welcome to the trust deed forum trustindeed.

It can be very difficult when a big bill arrives for something like this.

Most trustees will be understanding and try to help you through it. Skipping or reducing a payment, then making it up at the end, isn't unusual at all.

You'll need to contact your trustee to explain and seek their agreement. For their file they may request some verification from you, a copy of the repair bill for example.

Hi trustindeed and welcome.

Sorry to hear about your car and the large repair bill. I know the feeling.

We normally allow someone to miss a payment providing they supply us with a copy of any repair bill to justify the payment break which we hold on file.

I don't see this being a problem. As TDA said, contact your Trustee and they should be able to help.

They might be ok with cheaper option, but probably best to check this with your trustee first.
