I have been waiting for well over a month now to find out if my trust deed has become protected. My trust deed company KPMG told me they would confirm everything in written form. They verbally told me as far as they were concerned everything was ok, however, this was a couple of weeks ago. Our application was printed in the Edinburgh Gazette on the 2nd September 2011 and i have not heard a thing since.

During the process of setting up the trust deed KPMG were always keeping me informed of every stage of the process but its all gone a little quiet for my liking.

Thanks

Lee

Hello lee1974.

It certainly sounds like all is OK with the trust deed becoming protected, but I can understand why you would like written confirmation.

I'd suggest chasing them up by phone until it arrives with you; sorry that I haven't any more imaginative ideas for you.

Hi

The 5 week period for objections is now up, and it sounds like no creditors have objected. It is now too late for them to object, however your Trust Deed is not officially protected until it is registered withe AIB. It really is just a paper exercise now- you will be fine.
