Is it possible to give us an idea of how long it might take for the administration to be done after sending us form 5, and then to send forms 6 & then 7?
Hi. RoseG
There is no straight answer I'm afraid, although the discharge of the trustee should have no real effect on your own position.
At the end of the trust deed, the Trustee is required to prepare an annual report to creditors and the AIB. They also require to calculate the final dividend, on the basis that all creditor claims have been received and agreed. If there are any issues then the Trustee is unable to proceed to discharge. Once he is in this position, creditors receive Form 6 and have 14 days to agree/disagree. On expiry of this period Form 7 is issued to the AIB for registration.

Thanks Mark. Its much as you've said before - just wondered what was actually involved after form 5. I guess we just keep being patient. Getting good at that!!!
I have been waiting for my form 6 since August, was told in September that should have by November, still nothing and PJG recovery have been taken over by credit fix, who said they should not have my case. Also said PJG had passed on some cases because they had some much, and that no PJG staff were working for them. Yet I called one of the PJG staff who I had been dealing with and when I dialled the number took me through to Credit fix...I have emails confirming that I settled in full, have been advised to persue with the Accountant in Bankruptcy as FOS,have limited influence in individual cases. I wonder why PJG are still advertised on here, and what is there current status. The company were supportive as I did have some difficulties, the point is though, I did complete pay in full and now unsure where I stand, credit fix have said I closed in December but there is a gap in the amount paid and the amount due. Although I have evidence that proves . Not the case....any pointers, comments, suggestions...appreciated.

I have no form, no nothing just an email confirming that I had paid in full, my mistake in terms of forms.

I'm in the same position I was with PJG discharged and received Form 5 and all registered on AIB. Although, the Trustee has not been discharged and the case has ben transferred to Credit Fix. Received a letter today stating I should change my Standing order details to Credit Fix. I was discharged at the beginning of the year with my Trust Deed completed successfully. Any time I call credit fix they just say " We have a number of PJG cases and are waiting on all the information being migrated over but your discharged so don't have to worry". I'm just tired of getting any letters of engagement through just want to draw a line under it and move on. Can you complain to anyone to push the process on to get the trustee discharged?
Hi angelmo.
So it sounds like your new trustee needs to confirm that your payments are complete and then discharge you.
You have proof that all of the due payments have been made, so I'm wondering if this might be a data migration issue that needs to be resolved.
I think you should seek regular updates from your new trustee and hope that everything proceeds to closure for you soon.
Hello dizzi.
There's no fixed limit to how long your trustee can take to discharge themselves.
This can sometimes take quite a long time, especially where PPI work still needs to be done for example.
As you've been discharged I'm wondering how the fact that your trustee hasn't been yet is affecting you negatively?
I note that data migration has been mentioned to you as an issue.
I got discharged on 4th October 2011. On the 9th Feb 2015 my 6 years are up & still no trustee discharge. It's still down to PPI. I made the stupid mistake of letting a company chase my PPI for me. They got me about £3500 which was all sent towards my trust deed. When speaking to Apex they just say they are chasing it up. I think you'll find I got it chased up & got nothing for the pleasure. I know all the trust deed experts on here say once you've had your form 5 that's you finished. To us who have been through a trust deed it's all about closure & until the day comes that I look on the AIB website & I see a date for trustee discharge I can't put that part of my life to bed.
I think everyone would understand that p boy kk, you're certainly not the first person to express the same thoughts here.
I guess there are two sides to this.
Firstly there is the practical side, namely that the trustee not yet being discharged shouldn't usually hold people back from doing something that another person with a trustee that has been discharged can do.
Then there's the aspect of how people feel; the element of closure and moving on.
Both are important in different ways to different people.
I can say though that my life has changed for the better since going through the trust deed process. I deal with money a lot better use credit wisely & don't live beyond my means. I think a value lesson has been learned.

Thanks, still unclear on what the situation is with PJG and why my case was even passed to Credit Fix as they did not take over till october and my last payment was July. credit fix said they were only taking cases that had 6 months or more, is all very distressing especially when PJG are still recommended..

Hi angelmo.
I recognise that many people who have had their trust deeds transferred have found the process to be unsettling.
Without too much going over of things that have previously been discussed here, the Directors considered that this was a necessary step to take.
There were previously four shareholders of PJG, now there are two. Those two are Mark who posts here and Sue Clay who acts as trustee. They're the two Directors of the company and now have full control of it.
They're recommended by us because we continue to believe they provide an excellent option to someone considering beginning a trust deed. I'd personally be very comfortable referring a family member to them if they needed that type of help.
I very much hope that your discharge comes soon and that you can move forwards.
