As far as I am aware, partial satisfied is sufficient, as long as they are showing the outstanding debt as 0. Default notices are a matter of record so I'm afraid they cannot normally be removed, though they can be amended if necessary so that they do not show as being later than the date of the signing of the trust deed.

However, I don't profess to be an expert on the murky world of credit reference files.

Hi Jackie1803.

There's no credit reference agency experts here.

However I believe creditors are perfectly entitled to mark your defaulted accounts as either satisfied or partially satisfied when you're discharged from a Scottish trust deed.

As Kevin says the balances should be set to zero.

Hi Jackie been out of Trust deed since Feb this year and all my creditors have marked as Satisfied or Partial with balance as ยฃ0. Max Recovery were last to update and told me that the Satisfied or Patially satisfied will stay on my credit record for another 3 years from signing T.D.

Trust Deeds serve their purpose to help us gain control of our finances, but afraid no quick fix to getting our credit records sorted.
