Hi
Just looked at a couple of historic posts by a member who works for my TD company.
The post concerned mentioned that trust deeds can be extended for a number of reasons one of which is to meet arrears.
How hypocritical then is it when I contact my Trustee this week requesting that I be able to miss some payments to pay some crucial outstanding liabilities only to be told no way and that my Trustee would rather go for sequestration.
We are talking about making someone homeless but apparently my Trustee does not seem to care about this.

You've already acknowledged that your trustee has done exactly that, but that you've not kept to your side of the deal.
I'm not judging the reasons for not sticking to the deal, it sounds like you're having a really tough time, but this post in isolation really seems quite misleading.

In what way is the post misleading? I have merely stated a fact based on a previous post and questioned why what was stated cannot be done.
Talking of taking things in isolation - it would have been nice if my Trustee had done this.
We are talking about making me homeless. They are saying unless you do this we will make you homeless.
People in trust deeds have the problems associated with debt. People like myself have the problem associated with the illness (addiction) that I suffer from.
As I said we are talking about making someone homeless not about taking a bag of sweets from them.

I can sympathise with your position, I could write only in sympathetic terms here, but I don't think I'd really be helping you.
Your post is misleading because you've accused your trustee of hypocrisy for not offering you an extension. In reality you've already been offered extensions. It sounds like you've been offered extensions to extensions after you've missed payments also.
Your trustee is clearly trying really hard not to make you homeless. You need to decide whether you're prepared to do what it takes to avoid this.
