Hey guys. Had a letter through today to say my trustee has resigned and I've now been appointed a new trustee ? Is there any reason for your trustee just resigning ? Should I have cause for concern and will this change anything on my part ?

Any help would be appreciated thanks

Hi Stace2988,

this is normal and can happen when a Trustee decides to leave a firm or if a firm decides to reallocate cases to another firm.

The agreement that you made at the outset of your Trust Deed should remain in place and nothing should change other than the person responsible for your Trust Deed.

It’s nothing to worry about but if you are then a quick call to your Trustee should reassure you.

I completed my payment schedule and am now on my third trustee, (I read on a separate English forum that my original trustee took out personal bankruptcy himself !). I have been discharged but my trustee has not. My feeling is that each trustee has made A profit from my TD because now that I have paid 14k towards A 22k debt, they now tell me the dividend to my creditor has now been lowered to 12p in the £ and it seems as though they are taking their time accepting this.
My question is that if this is not accepted by my creditors, where does this leave me?
I feel as though I've been taken for A ride!

If you are already discharged then you have nothing to worry about, charvel 84, you no longer owe those debts.
